Hi! I'm Katie. I've been in the software industry since 2002 working in a variety of industries and wearing a variety of hats. I fell in love with breaking things down in a way junior developers could understand while working as an instructor at a 14 week full stack bootcamp. But, the allure of the trenches was too strong and I missed finding elegant solutions to complex problems...I missed industry! I'm currently working as a software engineering manager at an amazing genetic testing company called Myriad Genetics. My goal in life is to have a positive impact on the world, and I'm thrilled to be able to really enjoy doing it!
